Festival — Bazique

In loving memory of Willem Swanepoel who helped install the 2023 edition and left his mark on the structure and all of us.

Installed at Bazique Festival over 3 years, each year built on and added to. The last edition refreshed with a super psychedelic paint job by Hattie Lily Designs.

I enjoyed the complete freedom that came with Baziques art grant system that allowed me to build whatever I liked. A lot of the designs dimensions were based on the 1x1m recycled ply board that I used. The central lamp was also an upcycled piece from my first Bazique project and actually the first thing I 3D modelled ever.
