Some designs have been sitting in my brain for years just waiting for the right occasion to be turned into reality. It wasn't a stage, it was just a "thing". In the end a chance encounter in a bar with Sonica from Streetopia made it happen.

This was my first attempt at employing the idea of Tensile Integrity in one of my own projects. Usually a technique applied to canopies, I decided I wanted to rather create something more solid from timber, that had a feeling of impossibility and seemed to defeat gravity.
